The shelter uses a robust welded and bolted steel frame with 50 mm × 50 mm × 10G welded mesh panels. The fabricated steelwork is galvanised for long-term corrosion protection, with optional powder-coated finishes available for projects requiring a particular RAL colour.
What type of roof is fitted?
The standard shelter is fitted with a galvanised box-profile steel roof, providing durable weather protection for the cycles stored inside.
How is access to the shelter secured?
A secure lock box with a hasp-and-staple arrangement is provided as standard. Alternative lock options can also be specified depending on the security requirements of the project.
Can the shelter be surface fixed or root fixed?
Yes. The Secure Meshed Cycle Shelter can be configured for surface fixing or root fixing depending on the site conditions. Adjustable feet can also be provided where required.
Can the internal cycle storage be changed?
Yes. Semi-vertical cycle racks are supplied as standard, but alternative configurations such as Sheffield stands or Sheffield toast racks can be considered where they better suit the required capacity, user group or available space.
Is the Secure Meshed Cycle Shelter suitable for commercial projects?

Secure meshed shelters are manufactured to order. Typical production lead time is around 2–3 weeks, subject to specification, finish, quantity and the current manufacturing programme.
