Secure vertical cycle storage without wall fixings
The Free-Standing Vertical Bike Rack provides secure, upright bicycle storage without requiring permanent wall fixings. Its floor-mounted support post makes it suitable for locations where walls are unavailable, unsuitable or cannot accept structural fixings.
Each unit stores one bicycle vertically, helping to reduce the floor area required compared with conventional horizontal cycle parking. The bicycle is supported at three points to help keep it stable, correctly positioned and easy to secure with a suitable cyclist-supplied lock.
Manufactured from durable steel components, the rack combines galvanised and powder-coated finishes for long-term commercial use. Optional RAL powder-coated finishes and protective rubber contact sleeves are available.
Ideal for workplaces, schools, universities, residential developments, basement cycle stores, car parks and public cycle hubs.

How many bicycles does each rack hold?
Each free-standing vertical rack stores one bicycle.
How far apart should the racks be installed?
A staggered installation at approximately 500 mm centres is recommended, subject to confirmation against the bicycle types, access requirements and proposed layout.
Can the rack be installed outdoors?
The galvanised (as standard) and powder-coated (available on request) steel components are suitable for indoor and appropriate outdoor locations. The required finish should be selected according to the site exposure and project requirements.
Is a bicycle lock included?

Is installation available?
Yes. Commercial installation is available subject to quantity, location, site access and the suitability of the fixing surface.
Can Cycle-In help with the layout?
Yes. Send us the available dimensions, required cycle capacity and any plans or photographs, and our team can recommend a suitable arrangement.
