Galvanised Sheffield cycle stands are supplied as standard, providing familiar and straightforward cycle parking for workplaces, schools, residential developments and other commercial sites. Alternative internal storage options can also be discussed.
What is the shelter frame manufactured from?
The shelter uses a robust welded and bolted steel frame with a galvanised finish for long-term corrosion protection. Powder-coated finishes can also be specified where a particular RAL colour or architectural appearance is required.
What timber is used for the cladding?
The standard shelter is clad with treated softwood timber, supplied in a vertical hit-and-miss arrangement. The standard specification uses brown-stained whitewood, with alternative treated timber options available on request.
What type of roof is fitted?
The Budget Cycle Shelter is supplied with a galvanised box-profile steel roof to provide durable weather protection for the cycles stored inside.
How is the shelter secured?
A hasp-and-staple locking arrangement is supplied as standard. Alternative locking options can be considered for projects requiring a different level of access control or security.
Can the shelter be surface fixed or root fixed?
Yes. The shelter can be configured for surface fixing or root fixing depending on the site conditions. Adjustable feet can also be provided where required.
Is the Budget Cycle Shelter suitable for schools and commercial projects?

What is the typical lead time?
Most Budget Cycle Shelters are fabricated to order. Typical lead time is around 2–3 weeks, subject to shelter size, finish, quantity and the current manufacturing programme.
